The Graceland V.I.P. Tour If you want, you can cough up an extra $20 or so per ticket and take the VIP tour of Graceland. You get a very chic Backstage pass looking thing that you can hang around your neck and look more in the know than all of the other tourists. You also get to have a special shuttle take you to from the Ticket booth across the street to the House. The idea is that you don't have to wait in a long line for a shuttle. On the day that we went, we waited in our special VIP line for our special VIP shuttle for quite a while. We saw at least 3 shuttles come and go with the "regular people". After you visit the Graceland Mansion (the house) (Jungle room and all), if you are a VIP you get to hop back on your special shuttle (aka the short bus) and view some very special things that they have NEVER LET ANYONE ELSE SEE EVER EVER BEFORE. Now, for the first time on the Internet, I am sharing these tabboo elvis highlights with the very unimportant people (that's you). This will save you $20... The first highlight of the VIP tour (top picture to the left) is a maintenance shack. This shack actually housed the shovels and rakes and picks and boots and things that the actual servants of Elvis used to clean up after him. Before you can catch your breath from the first highlight, you are wisked directly by (second picture to the left) an actual administrative office used by people that did administrative things for the King of Rock and Roll. The third and most important highlight (last picture to the left) is the top secret gate that Elvis used to sneak out of when he was trying to avoid the press (or Priscilla). Now that i've given you a free VIP tour (valued at $20) you should Check out the Music on Beale Street >>
