Visiting Graceland

I had very high hopes for Graceland and had looked forward to visiting it for many years. It was better than i had imagined. While we were in the cafe eating fried peanut butter and bananna sandwiches Holly said "I liked Elvis before, but now I LOOOOOOOOVVVEEE him." She's so right.

The tour was worth every bit of money spent. But I'll take you on an extra special VIP tour on the next page. But first, the stuff that everybody gets to see...

The actual house at Graceland is not that huge considering the stature of the guy who lived there. The tour through the house will only take you an hour or so if you go at a super slow pace.

Across the street from the house is the Auto museum, Elvis' two planes "Hound Dog" and the "Lisa Marie". You get to walk through the planes and check out the choice colors of the upholstery. Checking out the Museums and gift shops will take you another few hours.

We spent all day there and we really would have liked to stay longer but they kicked us out.
