In Feb. 1988, we recorded our first tape, What's Up Your Butt?, at Egg Studios in Seattle. It was engineered by World Famous Conrad Uno (Young Fresh Fellows, Presidents of the USA) & to our surprise Some folks that reviewed it apparently got the joke & wrote lots of nice things about it.
In 1992 we decided to annoy the world by recording again. The first tune we recorded for the new project was Liposuction By Love. It was used on a 7" record called Eat My Dust, a Tribute To Dust Blair, released by Szanktone Records. Backlash magazine heard the song & wrote "I heard the new one from Stagnant Water & it totally rocks! What Happened?". So, the name of the CD was chosen for us & it stuck.
Once again, to our surprise, the critics seemed to like What Happened. We made 1000 of 'em & I have some left. So, Yesterday's band is today's special. The money we make on the StagH2O stuff will go towards the release of something else cool on Mope.
Thanks fer carin'
